The process for registrating a new account is very simple: just click on the REGISTER button on the upper-right corner of our site and you will be redirected to the registration page where you will be asked to insert your email address and your password. After you press the "Register!" button on the registration form, an email will be sent to the specified email address with your profile link. Open the profile link and in your profile click the "CLAIM IT" button. After that a verification link is sent to your email address and following that link you will be asked to set a new password and confirm it. Once the password is set, you will be able to login to your Indie Gala password protected profile!
That's very simple also. Just use the Key Resender button in the upper-right corner of the site. Enter your email address and you will receive in your inbox, toghether with your profile link, a password reset link. Following that link, you will be able to insert a new password for your IndieGala profile page.
You can always leave it unprotected, the registration is not mandatory and even if you registered or claimed your Indie Gala profile, you can always unclaim it by clicking the "UNCLAIM" button in your profile link.
First of all, make sure you claimed your Indie Gala profile link, if you already purchased a bundle from us in the past or, make sure you registered, as specified above, on our site, if you never purchased a bundle before. To check if your profile link is claimed or password protected, simply visit your profile page through the link you received at registration time or when you purchased a bundle from us. If you can't find your profile link, just use the Key Resender button, enter your email address and the profile link will be sent to your inbox. If you are still having problems with this, just contact support@indiegala.com and we'll fix it for you.
Yes. Your profile page will be available to you FOREVER as long as indiegala.com website will exist.

First of all check your spam or junk folders. Secondly check the email that you entered in the form when purchased indiegala. The email address you entered is writtten in your receipt. Please forward us your transaction ID / receipt so we can recover it. (you should have the text "indiegala for xxx" in the receipt where xxx is exactly the email you entered ).
Yes, you can, but only untill the next bundle starts. After that this is not possible any more.
If you receive the error "invalid product key" please try to restart your Steam client. Otherwise, just contact us at support@indiegala.com.
Your download page will be available to you at anytime for the foreseeable future.The page includes all previous Indiegala you eventually bought, starting from IG 2.

During the happy hour HIGH TIER gift purchases are discounted ( gifts are purchases made with the "Is it a gift" checkbox selected ) You have to do a NEW gift purchase during HappyHour time to take advantage of this offer ( even if you previously bought the current IG bundle ). Happy Hour is a moment during the bundle in which when you buy a HIGH TIER* gift, you have bonus (read as free) HIGH TIER* gift(s) whose numbers depend on when you ( and if you ) ALREADY purchased the bundle HIGH TIER* . If you purchased the HIGH TIER* bundle during the 1st week, during an Happy Hour you'll be able to purchase 1 gift and receive 1 + 3 gifts. If you purchased the HIGH TIER* bundle after the 1st week, you'd receive 1+2 HIGH TIER* gifts. If you didn't purchase yet the HIGH TIER* bundle, you'd get 1+1 HIGH TIER* gifts. Remember to check the GIFT checkbox to get advantage of HappyHour. * If the sale has 2 Tiers HIGH TIER is Tier 2. If the sale has 3 Tiers HIGH TIER is Tier 3. "Weekly" bundles ( lasts only 7 days or less ) does NOT have HappyHour.
We can't merge a gift with a profile. This is not technically possible, and also is outside of the purpose of the gift. Also, if the gift does not belong to you, it would be also very difficult to assign the gift to your profile because gifts in the db are associated to transaction id and email of the purchaser.
Yes. To unlock (upgrade) your purchase, you must do another transaction on your personal account, this means you must do another transaction on your profile using the same email address and WITHOUT checking the "Is it a gift" link because gift transactions don't upgrade your personal account.
No. Unfortunately Indiegala1 db was too different so now a merge is impossible but the good news is that the actual db structure will be the same for IG2, IG3, IG4 and all the upcoming indiegala sales.

It seems that you have not been charged, or at least our system didn't receive money from paypal or google checkout so it didn't process the request and didn't assign you serials. Please check your paypal & checkout records and see if you were charged and forward us the receipt please, if you do not have a receipt from paypal or checkout it means you have not been charged.

GalaPoints are special bonus points that you can earn buying indiegala bundles. The more money you spend on indiegala, the more bundles you buy, gifts you made, the more galapoints you get. GalaPoints can then be spent on The GalaStore, paying part of the price of each game with them. The amount of the price of each game that can be paid via galapoints varies from game to game. Starting from the February Indiegala, the GalaPoints will be assigned as follows:

  • Buying the current indiegala bundle will give you 5000 GP
  • Beating the average will give you additional 10.000 GP.
  • Buying in the first week will give you 10.000 GP.
  • For every dollar you spend you will also receive 1000 GP (GalaPoints), for example $5 = 5000GP.
  • For every gift you buy, you will receive 5000 GP.

When buying from The GalaStore , once you added your games to the shopping cart, if for those games is available a GalaPrice (GalaPoints discounted price), you can convert your GalaPoints into dollars by simply typing in the appropriate textbox, the number of GalaPoints that you want to use to get a discount on each game you are purchasing.
