Die Young is not “just another survival game” for us at IndieGala.
It’s a passion project, born from a small development team with limited resources but an absurd amount of care, dedication and love for PC gaming. Every rock, every path, every ruined building on the island was handcrafted, tested and refined to deliver an intense and immersive experience.

Years after its release, Die Young still lives in the hearts of our developers and in those of the fans who discovered it, played it, streamed it and kept talking about it. The sun-burned Mediterranean island, the desperate escape, the parkour over rooftops, the story of a young woman abandoned to die and determined to fight back… for us, Die Young is part of our identity as an Italian indie game studio.

What is Die Young?

Die Young is a first-person survival game set on a beautiful yet ruthless Mediterranean island, developed by IndieGala for PC players looking for a different kind of challenge.

You play as a young girl kidnapped and left to die inside a well, with no equipment, no weapons and no one to help you. Your goal is clear but brutal: survive, explore and escape the island.

The game combines:

  • First-person parkour and platforming
  • Hardcore survival mechanics
  • Risky melee combat and resource management
  • Environmental storytelling and hidden lore

No endless markers on the map, no constant guidance: the player must observe, memorize, navigate and use the environment as a real tool.
