HOW TO TURN OFF CHAT SOUND!
  1. Scroll down all the way to the bottom of the page where you will find the chatango box.
  2. To find the button to shut of the pings, look under the text box and next to the "people here now" button
  3. Click the button that looks like a volume sign
  4. A box will come up that says, "Do you want to remember this setting next time you are here?", click it because everytime you refresh the clicks will come back
  5. Refresh any page you are on, so that the setting kicks in for all the pages
